RE: 2.5.7 Changelog - DeltaStrikeOp - 2013-03-15 Well, I'm pretty sure we're gonna replace the AK-47 in 2.5.7 with the SCAR-H, and the M16 with the HK416. If Padge1 finishes his M203 model, that'll replace the RPG. The USP model might get replaced to a Glock or Mk. 23 skin. No word yet from Padge1 about whether or not the DTA SRS Covert will or will not replace the Intervention. RE: 2.5.7 Changelog - Victor - 2013-03-15 Replacing the AK-47 with the SCAR-H will result in an increased fire rate (600 to 625 RPM), so I'm not sure. The M16 should be replaced with something better. RE: 2.5.7 Changelog - DeltaStrikeOp - 2013-03-15 Instead of the cyclic rate of the SCAR being increased, I think the stats should stay the same. The 7.62x51mm NATO is more powerful than the 7.62x39mm Russian, so there's more recoil. To counteract the recoil, we should "reduce cyclic speed in order to have less recoil". This is actually possible in real life. You simply turn the gas key (set it to either adverse or suppressed, i forget. But it's probably suppressed b/c adverse probably has more pressure)to a softer setting and you'll get less recoil, at the expense of lower rounds per minute.
