ive found that soundbible.com has lots of sound effects that are open source... probably has a few gunshot sounds..

Afaik they dont hav to be, but as .wav (imo most common) files are often some megabytes in size they sometimes cause lag when being loaded.

More space in ram is bad .-. Takes up a gig on my old pc

From my experience with .wav files, they do cause lag because of their larger size. Also there is a problem (at least in my experience) of .wav sounds not being "dynamic", as in they play in both headphones (if you're using them)

Okay I'll just find a way to get it to ogg

I know this sound like much considering its due to release soon but in milsim you don't have cross hair detection .-. Is that still there so if I hover over a player it doesn't say thier name or anything? And is thier something I'm not doing right woth team edit mode in the tournament we have grenade toss which u threw grenade as far as you can and I was suggesting if you were in team edit you could mark where the grenade was thrown without an error saying you not admin or whatever .-.

I believe what you're talking about is our "hardcore" game mode modifier. Try it! It's really fun IMO to play and is really rewarding when you get a kill. There's lots of other differences in the "hardcore" mode too! I will probably write a wiki post about this soon because I feel this really sets us apart from AC (AC guys reading this, yes, I actually think this differentiates us from you, hate all you want. I didn't see you create this feature)
