if ACR is going to remove all copyrighted content, we probably have to remove the current ac_maps (ac_desert and ac_douze fans, i know how you feel :,( ) so we might need to make new maps im guessing. if we have to, then my next map project will be based off of douze. Also, if we are going to replace licensed mapmodels/textures/sounds, then we would need new maps anyways. does ACR have an official mapping team? if not, we should start one, and id like to volunteer. a couple months ago i started a bombed out desert village themed map that i nicknamed "Stanistan" (placeholder name for now lol) but i stopped working on it. would anybody like to continuebit or help me with it when im done with acr_doused?
acr_doused is what i will call my douze-esque map btw

We can try to imitate the maps and make our own version (acr_desert and acr_douze) as close to the originals as possible.

we should also get rid of the ones nobody actually plays/likes and replace them with new, better, maps. ill post a thread asking what maps the community thinks we should remove

Are all the maps copyrighted so that we can't use them? I don't remember seeing douze in the list of maps we had to remove.

Most of the maps are actually permissively licensed. I'll deal with this tomorrow.
