ACR MAJOR HELP

Hey I just got assaultcube reloaded and its really cool but when I scope it wont let me move the sniper scope around and it has sommme bugs but it works for ppl on utube and i installed it in the same directory as the original assaultcube. Should i reinstall both? What is wrong? How do u move the scope/sight? it also says "unknown alias lookup for blah blah (usally scopenscale [or something])" and "valid scope sensitivity is balalhla blahhh

IMPORTANT: I got the scope thing fixed but where is the server_autoconfigured.bat file? and do I port foward 29770 or whatever the deafault port is? and the "deafault server" from victor doesnt show up on the servers list....

and one mor thing, i have a friend playing with me and we want to do 2 on 2 (us vs bots) but the bots (one or more depends) gets on our team after respawn. anyway around this?

ACR is a portable standalone.

You are not supposed to overwrite AssaultCube.

You download, unzip to any empty folder and play it. As it is portable, you can also place it on a USB stick and play anywhere.

Bots being switched with humans to make 1 human + 1 bot vs 1 human + 1 bot?
/autoteam 0? Remove the "convert" mutator?

thanks! but how u connect to all the servers? i dont see any or the official one u made. also when i try to claim admin in my server (/setadmin 1 <pass>) it dont work! in the server.bat file i put the -x<passhere> function in but it kicks me when i do it! I fixed everything but that. Help!!

You cannot use the -x switch. Use the -X switch instead to specify the password file.

Passwords take the form of:

<password> <privilege>

where <password> does not contain spaces and <privilege> is 0 for deban, 1 for master, 2 for admin, and 3 for owner.

The official server is down

There aren't any servers, not to mention players.

It's not -Xpassword, it's -Xconfig/serverpwd.cfg
where "config/serverpwd.cfg" is the password file.

thnx!!! i gots everythang workin except the fact that when i run the server it says "looking up ms.acreloaded.tk...." and it dont say "master server reply: registration succeeded." (normally tho b4 this problem happend it would say: "master server reply: server registered - we cannot check sockets") and one tiny thing is how do u set USER passwords like 4 a private server?

I put it on a CD to test it ran the disk and when onlkine the disk shattered.

The problem is that nobody is running a server.

User passwords look like "<password> 0" (remove quotes), but I would recommend you to run a public server. There's almost no players.
