RE: Chatbox for ACR forum
Just wondering, can some website host the chat client instead of a dedicated server?

RE: Chatbox for ACR forum
It will not solve the problem. The messages need a server to be stored.
They was confident : "Only some thousands of bricks, and it will look like something !"
More a community is little, more the "others will do it" way to think is dangerous for it. |

If said server has MySQL access and you have the mysqli and the mcrypt module installed, yes, but then the IRC bridge won't function. For the IRC bridge to function you need to be able to have a python script running in the background. |

RE: DOG, Wolf or whatever
its a bug/feature with iOS. It works perfectly fine on android
iOS for some reason (in both chrome and safari) loads the entire textbox up until the last recorded message. This makes navigation of the forum home difficult. Tested on an iPhone 5S on iOS 7 (unsure of build, it was my father's phone) Android (Kitkat 4.4, Nexus 7 2013) behaves normally on the forum. The chatbox does not expand without limit. DSO

RE: Chatbox for ACR forum
Since it is broken here i'd either recommend to re-install it ( https://github.com/Sorunome/OmnomIRC2 ) (as I changed quite some things concerning checkLogin, as in, it is a whole folder now) or try to update the checkLogin.
For the auto-updating it may have also been unable to edit how the SQL tables look like, so you might want to check that back with the omnomirc.sql file in the repo |

RE: Chatbox for ACR forum
@Sorunome, I updated until it broke at 2.9.0.5. Then I added the new checkLogin. Next, I tried reinstalling it on 2.9.1, but that failed.
