Look at config/fonts.cfg and packages/misc/chars.png. Now imagine a fonts.cfg with about 65535 lines and a chars.png 256 times bigger. That results in a 67 megapixel (8192 x 8192) .png. The font itself will be bigger than half the downloads right now!
And no, you can't use an .xml to fix it. Best regards,
