@asmanel: That is the reason why I suggested/created that "mod installer". I'm going to fix some bugs and start an inofficial weapon repository short after christmas, so let me do some advertising here again:
-> Written in pure C++ with Qt4 libs - platform independent!
-> Fetches a list of mods and puts them into a nice list
-> Unzips and installs them automatically
TODO:
-> Compile for Win, too
-> "Details"-Windows with HTML/Preview
-> Backup functoin
MAYBE IN FUTURE:
-> Write up a real "repsository" in php with access for forum members
(myBB logins)
-> Make it work as a universal ACR Launcher/Updater, too
(some problems with paths etc, current version is definitely worse than the existing one)
