Also a player should be able to pick up droped guns from a dead player(from any team).also add a smoke grenade.

The teams should both have access to all weapons to make it fair. The problem with dropped weapons is how it will be rendered. The Cube Engine sucks at smoke, not sure about Cube 2.

For the gun rendering stuff i think you should do what ac dose which is use world gun models.

The world gun model might glitch up, and in classic mode, you get assigned perks based on your primary weapon. If you can swap it, it might not work as well.

Darn. I was also thinking about removing the crosshair ingame.(if you cant ,then have a gamemode with no crosshair)

BTW were you able to make the rain/snow particle idea work. And can you make the hud map a square instead of a circle?

I tried to make the radar a square, but it didn't work out.

There is a variable to disable the crosshair (/crosshairsize 0).

Not even cube 2 but Red Eclipse. RE has more modern engine with correct lighting, shaders and dynamic lighting. Also Platinum Art Sandbox has many neat stuff.

I'm thinking about adding Parallax Occlusion Mapping shader into cube 2 engine.
