free screen recorder?

so me and my friend are going to make a youtube account for his CoD clan and my {KE} clan. the problem is, i cant find a working screen recorder. the ones i have tried are too cpu intensive (Bandicam) or they make the games graphics glitch up (uTipu) so does anyone know of one?

I believe fraps should work for windows. If you are on linux or mac I'd advise looking up ffmpeg though and figuring out how to use that, I don't know if it works on windows though.

i got fraps, and it worked like a dream, but its unregistered for now, so i can only record 30s videos
