SUGGESTION: Classes
I have a suggestion for classes that would replace perks. Each class is usually better than another class with a specific weapon. For example, Medics would run faster and have less recoil and more accuracy with annmp5 or shotgun, but if they use a sniper they become slow and have a slower firing rate. below, ill describe the classes and their weapons.

Assault-Carries more Assault Rifle and Pistol ammo than other classes.
Weapons: M4/AK have less recoil, less spread, and faster aiming speed. If he uses other weapons he won't be able to carry extra ammo for that weapon. Recoil and spread is also increased for any other weapons. Secondary Weapon: USP .45 has a faster rate of fire. Cons: Can't carry extra ammo for any other weapon except M4, AK, and USP .45 Also more recoil for any other weapons besides the weapons I just described.

Support-Has a faster reload time for the RPG along with decreased RPG spread. He also can carry more RPG rockets than any other class. Weapons: M21 is the only primary he can use effectively other than shotgun. Shotgun has faster rate of fire when he uses it. M21 has less recoil, but he can't carry more than 1 extra mag with him. Cons: Slowest class.

Medic-Very accurate with the MP5. He is the only class that can heal teammates. He is also the fastest class. Weapons: MP5 or shotgun. MP5 has reduced spread and recoil, and faster aiming speed. Shotgun has basic stats, but he can carry more shells than any other class. Secondary would be healing gun (hopefully syringe in the future.) He also spawns with more health. Cons: Has the accuracy of a Stormtrooper when using any other gun besides MP5 or shotgun. This also takes away his speed.

Scout-When using any sniper rifle, the rifle's recoil and spread drastically decrease, while rate of fire increases a bit. When he shoots, he is invisible to radar ONLY IF HE IS CROUCHED AND NOT MOVING. If he's running and gunning, hes gonna lose his recoil and spread reduction until he's motionless again. Cons: Slow. Can only avoid detection when standing still and firing. Running makes him useless. Can not (successfully) use any other weapon besides sniper rifle.


Recon-The stealthiest class. When using MP5 and USP .45, his footsteps are ALWAYS silent. He is also invisible to radar even when firing MP5 or USP. Also immune to UAV. He can also 'tag' enemies. When he sees an enemy, they will be displayed on the teams radar until the recon or the tagged enemy are dead. He is very accurate with USP or MP5, and can carry more USP mags than any other class. He is the only class that can use the sword. Cons: When using any other weapon than MP5 or USP, he loses his radar immunity, silent footprints, and ability to fire his guns undetected.

I don't know, I like the perk system, and this class system is to dependent on using certain weapons instead of being a general upgrade. Also, anything that benefits RPG users is asking for trouble. Shotgun + RPG + support is way too overpowered IMO. Also MP5 is just as powerful as the shotgun, which is pretty much super OP so having almost every class benefit the MP5 would make it too powerful.

ah but the scout would suck with the rpg because he would only be able to carry 1 rocket and the spread would be awful

he would also as i said lose all of his abilities if he uses the shotgun

maybe have it so that when someone uses a weapon not for their class, the stats stay the same. but when they are that class, the stats are increased.

I think we should implement the sort of thing BF4 has, which are weapons that can be used by all classes, if this system is ever introduced.

If I understood well, each one of class is specialized for a kind of task. It affect more the player than perks and reduce more its versatility.

unmanned aerial vehicle. it displays the enemy's position on your mini-map in game

@Victor yeah it basically is except it would make the game seem more realistic

Well changing perks into packages of them (classes) would only make it less customization--but easier to balance.
