RE: ACR Updater[CLI]
Well, all of this cost money (the server itself, power, the risk to burn down your house because of an Intel employee having a bad day and so on). If we'd go and host that on a free file server it will be cheaper (and probably have more uptimeWink).

Anyway, what about the mod list file format mentioned above? Maybe with a preview image url?
Just started to (partly) rewrite the code after finding me tied in strange events and signals Tongue

//Update: I spend my summer somewhere having quite poor internet and thus not postng/reading too much. Anyway, the launcher should be usable around next week.

Believe it or not, but there is some progress going on. At the moment the manager misses some features, but I hope I will be able to finish the basic stuff by, lets say, next week.

RE: ACR Updater[CLI]
I just finished writing a server to host this(slightly different format from before, it is now a nice REST API). It is temporarily hosted off of my computer through localtunnel. Repository for the code is at https://github.com/ruler501/modserver I can transfer it to the acreloaded organization if we want.

URL: https://xdyqayszxu.localtunnel.me slow loading the first page then reasonably quickly
Registration URL https://xdyqayszxu.localtunnel.me/users/register

URL subject to change until we get solid hosting for it, for example it changes whenever I turn my computer off, update the code, or localtunnel crashes.

EDIT: localtunnel keeps crashing so I'm taking it down for now. Ping me on IRC or email if you want to see it up and running.
