Hey guys started modeling my m4 carbine Big Grin only 2,600 polygos so far.... all thats left is scope ( acog ) texture and animation Big Grin ill get some pics soon Big Grin

thanks man :p i'm in the final strectch of modeling ... wont export to assult cube cuase this god damn ak47 hands (i need dif ones...but no worries) in the model i have acog 4x ( no zoom script or anything just acog the lens part of the acog is a see through scope ima modify your newer scope dso and make it into a circle or whatever....) i also have m203 grenade luacher (and belive or not ima make a version of the gun to replace rpg Big Grin so u can fire the m203 ( thats why its there) it'll have reload animation of m203... il try my hardest... need textures and animation and ill get screenshots asap but it'll take sometime cuase i do most of my stuff and school ( and my original proxy for getting on blocked sites cant run java or adobe .... which means no imgur but when i get on at home i will Big Grin ) anyone know how to add texture?i got uv and stuff but needs color: but what do i do to add it in acr... :c but whatever hope to get some screenshots soonz

dude M203 sounds so cool. and the distances in ACR means that grenade drop is really negligible. Looking forward to the models!

haha thanks man looking foward to texture week the m203 in my model isn't in much detail but i can fix that Big Grin i just want to say to anyone modeling do not use cylinders or circles :c u cant export with that just keep in mind that.. but quick thing tge reload animation has the clip being removed returned and the little hammer lever thing being pulled back and im at 2,543 polygons so i think i can add a strap for the gun that waves in the animation Big Grin cuase i like realism
i wanna be a texture pro so ive been learning somethings latley Big Grin but yea i think its gunna be nice as mu first offical

oh and btw it wasnt the hands that kept it from exporting it was a detail in the main part of the gun that was made out of a cylinder :C but ill replace it with a slightly less detailed cylinder with a cube should be fine .. hopeing to release on my bday or sooner (feb 9) so i think the next week or two will be used for teture and animation then a couple days for rpg replacement(m203) then a bit of testing.... i cant post a poll but quick question dso ( cuase u know your guns) the m4 carbine has a fire rate of 900 per min using nato rounds... the ak47 i belive has a similar rate of fire but in the idea it was made to replace the m16.. is it? ak47 or m16

Hey guys finally got on pc today ima get a pic just one sec but quick update... i tihnk the hands from the ak are fucked for my m4 cuased it wont load up in misift anyone know any alternitives to misift? cuase im in need at the moment :c but model looks awesome i guess m203 good to reload animations are gunna need some work but im worring about texture right now finally learned how but real quick how do i uv unmap correctly ? i unmap in blender but it doesnt work to well ( uv shapes are way off) so it wont show up in right place... any clues guys??
