Just quick and simple, a collection of all the playermodels I've ported to AssaultCube thus far (Or have fixed for others). Each Playermodel will have it's own download link in it's corresponding spoiler.

Let's start at the beginning...

Female Werewolf ~ScottRuggles

The screenshots don't really capture the playermodel too well, but this was my first actual playermodel I managed to get into the game (With a little help rigging the hitbox from a guy I know :>). This is also my most popular mod, with nearly 300 downloads total since I first debuted it back in 2011.

Mercenary

The second playermodel I've gotten into the game, this would be the only one I couldn't perfect the hitbox on despite countless tries. But if you can get past the headshot box only being halfway in the head region, then you should have a fun time playing with it.

This particular model was also the beginning of me learning how to export/import world models into the game (thanks again to the same guy I mentioned in the werewolf spoiler). Though they're not perfectly placed, or sized, it's still a fun mod regardless.

Marines

The third model in my possession that I managed to put forth into AssaultCube, it was more appropriate for the industrialistic war setting. This model also helped further enhance my abilities with importing/exporting quake 2 models into ac, along with some texturing experience.

Hayden

[spoiler]
The fourth to be pushed into the game, this one is rather bulky, and appears medeivilish, but none the less powerful. Sadly there isn't much info on the author. Sadly the world weapons aren't perfect either, but I will hopefully at a later date go back and fix this.

Terror

One of the more mysterious playermodels I've worked with, this one had no licensing, nor any details of its whereabouts, nor whom had created him. It's rather bulky, but again, fits the theme for industrialistic warfare. Though it enhances that counterstrike-ish feeling that some people swear AC already had.

Messiah

Another interesting playermodel that was given light once again, and was brought forth into the game. This one is still one of my personal favorites to this day. Though there is also a slight edited version that has a cowboy's hat, though it does not appear in this mod.

a_slow_old_man's Marines

Originally a mod made by a_slow_old_man, this mod was never released as a full mod because of it's beta state, which a_slow_old_man couldn't figure out how to get past. Luckily I managed to find this lying around and quickly made haste to salvage this beauty, fixing all his previous errors and perfecting the hitbox/model scaling. An incredibly fun mod to play with (even with sound mods). The screenshot is a_slow_old_man's original screenshot for the mod.

Warvet

Originally a model to be kept secret between myself and |HP| (the guy whom had been tutoring me in the ways of playermodel exporting/importing, etc), I noticed you guys had this model already up. So I decided to go ahead, and place it onto akimbo (even though I had already perfected the hitbox. It even has it's own set of unique skins for all modes. This also is the only mod that I had created a unique skin for...

Ratmahatta

One of the more productive/better playermodels squeezed into ac, this mod came to life. Not only was I thrilled for pulling off this mod, but I was thrilled for the fact it brought the original cube monster to AssaultCube's gameplay, and that brought back some great memories. :') Though I hopefully in the near future will get the ogro, goblin, and other monsters from cube into the game.

I have more planned in the near future, and will update this list as they come along. Until then, enjoy what I have done thus far. Wink

I also apologize for having to link you all to more than one preview due to the 5 image per post restriction. Tongue

Nice!
Btw: What about some models with higher polynom count? I dont want to criticize you, AC and ACR are both for slower pcs, but I think some people here have a little faster machines Tongue

That depends on whether or not it's already in quake md2 format and is already animated. If not, I can't do anything about it yet (I haven't learnt how to rig/animate playermodels yet). But if it already has all of its animations, and a world weapon with it, I can certainly get it into the game. Smile

Rigging a model is a fuckin' nightmare for me too.I've tried but yeah, the results are terrible.I use Blender for my modeling. It's cool and all but the bone system there is just so damn hard to understand, and then theres weight painting that makes your life like 3x harder.Tho you gotta start somewhere Tongue

@-{ET}-xdEpicZombie The bone system is probably useful if you make a new character without using an other as base but I don't believe they are needed if you use an other character as base.

P.S. : there are two misworking links, the mercenary one, that send to an error page, and the ratmahatta one, that send to the download page of an other mod.
