Great model ideas for xdeipicz demonwolf bluwargy dso
Hey guys sorry I havent been on lately (bf4 has taken me) but I recently saw some ads and was thinking about acr you've probably heard about all of them Smile
Titanfall
Halo destiny
Thief
Mortalkombat
Assassins creed
1.the first one is from Titanfall and is a request to DEM0NW0LF to make, ( because he has some pretty awesome playermodels) pretty obvious, A TITAN I think it would look great
2. The second one is from halo destiny and thief, a cloak person playermodel (basically a person in camo pants in a cloak with the hood on
3. The third on is from halo destiny and is a gun ( it's the very last one in this image)

4. The fourth one ( back to thief ) is the crossbow ( its not the crossbow but I got the idea from the crossbow) grappling hook (ever play mortalkombat?) in mortal kombat Scropion has a blade like object that can extend from his wrist and pierce his opponet this would be a nice replacement to the sword.
5. The 5th one is from the one and only Assasains Creed (wait for it wait for it) BAM the. HIDDEN BLADE a awesome replacement for knife or sword
So yea just a couple of ideas I thought would be nice
In addition to those ima finish m4a1 Wink and finish Acr_Subway and Acr_School
Have fun and please whatever u do don't do the hidden blade ima do that one myself (if I can't do it then by all means go ahead but I'm sure I'll be fine Smile

Cloak is so hard to do.It must be animated very well,otherwise the legs will appear from the under of the cloak-glitchy thing suck.

I have an idea of the hidden blade.It could never be deployed like other weapons.Basically when you use quickknife,hidden blade will be used to melee.

I hate to burst your bubble, but I didn't make any of the playermodels. I've only imported them into the game. You'd be better getting zombie to make it. Tongue

The game is mostly looking for more realistic weapons/playermodels, so while these could be good for a mod, I don't think they'll be included in the official distribution.

Nope, they're originally quake 2 plug-in models. They've just been ported to ac.

I've honestly never ever made a playermodel (I've modified one before, but it was minor stuff).

Awww hmm well ima do cloaked and that halo gun but here's a thing... If u want realistic then why not specular maps and highlights ( just relised is when xd said it) is it not supported? And rain Smile (if ur looking for realism suggestions here u go (based of a 5 min research in the forums
1. Rain
2. Specular maps (which can be difficult but totally worth it
3. Directx (u said it would be hard but it would be worth it and if u let me I can help (I only know dx3d 10 and a bit of 9)
4.a climbing animation
5. Slightly bigger maps (I wanna make a remake of twin towers but u can go in the buildings and around them)
6. Someone said this a year ago so ima re mention it) what about a pack on the playermodel cast time I checked the playermodel has no source of gun clips no reload animations and no ads
7. PRONE FOR GODS SAKE I would love to lay down in a tactical area for sniping hut I can't lay behind a crate or a wood fence cause if I crouch my head Is overall exposed
8. Model animation the only mapmodel animations in the entire game is a damn fan :,( could someone make like a windmill of some sort or similar stuff... Or maybe a moving door( because of the wind or something)
9. When's the last time anyone ran into war by themselves ( I run 128 capacity LAN severs and u know what would be great) squads Smile and squad spawns and such
10. And last of all how bout a selective spawn ( squad spawn, spawn beacon spawn team location or strategic rando
I found all these except 5 9 and 10 in the acr forums I think they'd be great
NOTE: I didn't mention any guns because our mods here and current in game stuff can't get anymore realistic (except with them highlights a specular maps ... Try anisotropic filtering lately it's the best Smile directx says so

Cube engine does not support specular and normal maps.This engine is too shitty for that kinda stuff

PS guys,I am modeling a new player model,the polycount went too high!

In AC/ACR, the water is specular (if I don't misundertand what this word mean). Theorically, make possible specular maps probably will be difficult but not impossible. However, I believe such maps will reduce the engine performances.

About the map size, there are seven possible map sizes, from 6 (64x64 cubes) to 12 (4096x4096 cubes). maps with a size higher than 9 are rare.
