RPG is an explosion those follow different principles. The explosive force from them is generated at the point and is enough to toss bodies like rag-dolls usually.

Particles take a lot of coding to get right. Like I said they would be nice, but are not a priority. If you really want them, write the code and submit a pull request.

I still don't understand pull request very well but I will do my best /.\ and OpenGL gunna have to study that some more Captian
Alright, I just wanna know where the code is gunna have to go to where it's not going cause any interruptions to anything else ( I will also add a function they will skip running the line of code based on if it's deemed acceptable for educational purposes ie if it doesn't work I will find a way to make the function true so it skips all my stuff untill I find out why it doesn't work.. Do u have a file path, file name where I can put whatever I come up with? |

It all depends on what you're doing. Generally you add the code to the file whose functionality you are modifying. You also don't always create new functions, sometimes the old ones just need to be upgraded.

I voted "Weather" because I think it's the best idea of the list but there also are other good ideas in this list.
The animated skimaps idea isn't bad if it doesn't make slowy the game. The global illumination seems to correspond to the ambient light, an alrady implemented but misknown mechanism (it doesn't appears in the menu and, like the tags, is write only). Server improvement are also a very good idea. About the texture improvements, I think simply change the already available ones isn't a good idea, I think the best is make possible to download them like in most modern FPS. They was confident : "Only some thousands of bricks, and it will look like something !"
More a community is little, more the "others will do it" way to think is dangerous for it. |

Well I know OpenGL has texture filters
![]() Global Illumination could just completly replace the current lighting ![]() The current lighting makes the textures appear choppy Could kill two birds with on stone if lighting was corrected in general if it is a mod to Cube 1 , then we can certainly add new features Most importantly handle more file types ![]() Perhaps .md5? With full support of other model formats and .md3 MP3 Gif MP4 even And something brought to my attention recently was contained water :0 so we could have waterfalls ![]() Without the water just being visible over a certain point Or a body of water ![]() Increase map sized ? That would end complaints :000..... The weather system could be as simple as the color of the skymap If it's dark, "rain" If it's light "show sun glares" Sun Position ( that means we could have a accurate sunglare) Snow could blend all ground textures with a snow texture Puddles of water even.... Sun up , sun down (Night Battles) We could add a thermal camera for night battles in game model adjustments, (allows for gun attachments) All sort of things... (I'm making a follow up comment on how attachments would work) |
