Speedhack
// Name: unnamed
// Date: 25-03-2016 // Reason: Speedhack // Proof: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ri7k2l...hmatch.dmo // Server: (oficial server!) // IP: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx This guy join in server in minute 4:38 Why IP: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx? Well, at the beginning of the demo, who is playing is Feeh "[=31" training against bots, and when the "unnamed" join in server (4:38), Feeh forgot to get the ip ... so he got the demo, and passed it to me, so I watched the demo, and I saw the "unnamed" uses speedhack, all the time. But when I was watching the demo, I saw that is not possible to see the IP in the demo ... well, currently in Assault Cube is possible ... I thought the same here (In the next release, maybe this is a good idea to implement). So Victor, this happened on your server, I think you can get the IP of the "unnamed", and then put it blacklist. |

RE: Speedhack
When time permits, speedhack detection will be copied from ACR 2.6.

RE: Speedhack
Ok, I thought it would be possible to put this player hack in blacklist, because the demo you can see he used speedhack and speedhack is not allowed (demo = proof), but okay, I understand, you do not have time now.

RE: Speedhack
From the server logs, his IP is 90.107.182.29 and he also used the nickname Xx_Troll_xW 6 days earlier.
Code: Mar 25 2016 15:52:05 [x] ]=31 (2) [M16A3] unnamed (1) (9.28 m) In the next version of ACR, speedhack detection will be restored. Also, it would be better to implement a voting/reputation system for master-server bans. Best regards,

RE: Speedhack
Yes, speedhack detection restored in the next version is a good idea. AC already have it, but it has a bug, if you are a pro jumper, if you jump (using bind: /bind lshift [crouch, jump] pressing also space) going to forward, the server detects that it is speedhack and then the player is automatically banned from the server, but when it happens, the other players who are on the server, vote /removebans for the banned player can back to server, so this is not a big big problem, because it happens very rarely, but you can try to solve this "bug".

RE: Speedhack
ACR's speedhack detection is different from AC's private anti-cheat code though.
