I tried to connect to some servers however I get this:
It also says newer protocol next to the server IP's.

I downloaded from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/assaultc...urce=files

Version: 2.2.3
However a version 2.3 was listed, is it because I need version 2.3?

I forgot to change the "latest" download on SourceForge. Download 2.3, and it will be OK.
