What is wrong with it?
If I joina server first it is fine, but then if my friend joins, he is stuck in ghost mode and cannot move, or be shot at (however he has not lagged out), then if I disconnect and he joins first - and then I ATTEMPT to connect, I am stuck in ghost mode and cannot move or be shot at...

Dade's server has issues, and I confirmed it as it works when pwned or I host a server.

Ok, so I tried the other but it says wrong password - could you tell what it is, if it is your server?

If not, could you host one for this evening, my friend and I want to play, as we are interested in starting a team in this game and getting a small competitive scene going.

Also when my friend hosts a server, what ports does he need to forward: 28770?

Ok Update: We hosted our own server, and we're still getting this bug, however the last guy that connects cannot move, and the first and second players can move about, but they cannot see each other, just flickering ghosts to one and another.

He needs to forward 28770 UDP AND 28771 UDP. Basically the server port and the subsequent port. ON UDP ONLY, NOT TCP.

I'll run a server, it's called "Victor's Development Server". Never mind, it's not going to work, the SVN version has a new protocol.

What about the multi-player bug? No matter what server run on 2.3, it bugs, we are using an older version atm to play, and it works fine, so I assume it's not just Dade's server but a version issue.

My server works in conjunction with pwned's. I believe that it is the firewall's issue.

OUR firewalls issue? Mine is turned off, and my router one is too Confused
We still get the bug. We can move about and stuff, we're just ghosts to each other, our friend who is pretty knowledgeable with this stuff (AC Source etc) Is sure it's a client bug. Especially since it is not effecting the older versions.

In fact we were trying to get him to maybe help develop it with you if you need help (he is available if you need), he's an old competitive player like myself, so is great with weapon balancing etc if you need help on that front too, but that's another matter - BACK TO MULTIPLAYER!

I'm playing massively BF3 this days, so if my server have any problem (and please give solutions xD) don't worry on PM me.

lol BF3. I had to spend the entire week trying to get MW3 downloaded. it adds up to 20hrs + of download. now my server are running whenever it can. (new ip too)
server version 2.3.0

I've played on the |SK| server... it works because 2 people were playing on it when i join.....
