How to run a server for n00bs

Port-forward UDP on your server port as well as the following port. Example: a server on port 28770 must port-forward both 28770 and 28771!
Download ACR (and extract it or upload it to the VPS)
Go to ./config/
Rename "default.*" files so that "default." is removed. (HINT: This is so that on an update, your changes will not be overwritten. However some releases require that you adjust them (use the new "default.*" files as a reference.)
Edit those files that you renamed
Go up, and run server.bat or server.sh, for Windows and Linux respectively.

For Linux servers, you can SSH in, `screen`, launch the server, and CTRL-A then D detach the screen.
Alternatively, `screen -dm bash -c 'cd ~/ACR_path; ./server.sh; exec bash'`

Wasn't that easy? Only 6 steps!

If we cannot do registration checks, we'll give you a reminder upon registration that says "NO ERROR", which will not show up during renewals, but if we can, you should see server registered/renewed, or else you should read it! Ensure that you have port-forwarded correctly!

you really missed one important part of running a server. To make the server public for everyone to play on, you need to PORTFORWARD 28770-28771 UDP (default ports for ACR)
