Ragdollz?
Can your engine support anything like ragdolls so when the player dies, it becomes a ragdoll like in COD 4?

I don't think the engine can support that. Another limitation of the Cube Engine.
Still alive in 2021. Wish you all the best and I'll drop in every now and again.

In the original Cube, there is a ragdoll system. I don't know if it remain (but became unused) or not in ACR.
If I understand well what I saw and read about it, Sauerbraten uses the same ragdoll system. This system will not work with all models, only the ones which have ragdolls animations. If I understand well what I read, the ragdolls movements are predefined in the models. They was confident : "Only some thousands of bricks, and it will look like something !"
More a community is little, more the "others will do it" way to think is dangerous for it. |

That is awesome.Now we need someone to make the animations,right?I suck at animating.Maybe Padge1 could help out.I had an idea though.Maybe new playermodels then too.I have some cool models laying around my harddrive somewhere!

According to what I saw today at playing, the ragdoll system I described remain used in ACR.
They was confident : "Only some thousands of bricks, and it will look like something !"
More a community is little, more the "others will do it" way to think is dangerous for it. |

1. : In Sauerbraten, the default models have several predifined ragdoll movement. I don't know how they made it. I think they pre caculated them with a 3D program, like Blender. There is no ragdoll generator in game.
