dm.mossberg590a1 it should have a file called something like stdout.txt in the bin_win32 directory or bin_linux.
If not run it from terminal/command prompt and log all the output to a file.

if you are running on linux please edit the makefile to have CXXOPTFLAGS=-O0 -g instead of the optimization and then see what it says. You might also want to run it piped to a file with 2>&1 | tee log.txt

What were you doing when it crashed?

EDIT: It might also help to run it with gdb. That should give a line number for where the crash occurred if you compile it correctly.

ruler501 it crashes when I'm playing the game so I'm not exactly sure what I was doing when it crashes.

Also when the crash happens it freezes so bad that I am forced for force shut down the computer (hold down the power button) to stop it. No keyboard or mouse input will work.

I also tried to commit the new pistol but I committed to the master not the branch, which was not what I wanted.

is my 1911 going to be used for this? if so, we could make code for a 9mm pistol that has more rounds, less power, but less recoil and use my glock or epiczombies' p226 as the model

akbluwarguy, I increased the capacity to 15+1 and will probably decrease the recoil and damage of the 9mm as well as decreasing the damage of the 1911. Right now the 1911 is a one shot kill in hardcore mode and the 9mm has more damage than the 223, which makes no sense so I will probably make the 9mm the same damage as the 223 (25 damage or smth) and the 45 the same as the normal pistol (32 damage). The MP5 will also have 32 damage despite being 9mm too because the longer barrel makes it have more stopping power. I will decrease the recoil of the 1911 to be the same as the 9mm.

This would be sorta similar to Urban Terror with the Beretta taking a gazillion rounds to kill but it's easier to get headshots while the Desert Eagle (like the 1911) is more powerful, but has less rounds and takes longer to reload.

I can compile a copy for windows. I would prefer if this not overtake the regular version, given that it is just a beta test.

dm.mossberg to get out of that press ctrl-alt-f1 log in and type 'killall native_client' and if you have gdb running also type 'killall gdb'. Then press ctrl-alt-f7 to get back to the desktop. If that doesn't bring you back to the desktop try the same combination with the f* keys above it till it works. One should work.
