Some suggestion for the current menù

Hi

Since I'm shorthsightened enough it's possible to have the cursor used to make selections in the current menu voloured with another dye? let's say yellow, for instance?

I bareky can see the current black one >.<

Also, why I cannot use fully the mouse? I mean, usin it as on windows desktop, where i can move the poiter all over around the screen?
Now usin it makes only move the cursor up and down..any chanche to see a new behavior?
