YourFunWorld offers to register US copyright for AssaultCube Reloaded.
I suggest that they run a server or play the game, which helps to solve one of the largest current problems.
They are setting up a server for us, but because I am running the server, it'll be the official server.

We have locked the thread because the issue has been resolved. However, we shall not delete it because the readers have the right to know about events concerning AssaultCube Reloaded.

I have decided to decline the offer. Copyright registration makes it easier in court, but it is not required to be protected by copyright. If you would like to support AssaultCube Reloaded, I suggest that you play it or, even better, run a server. One of the largest problems that AssaultCube Reloaded experiences is the lack of servers, which contributes to a lack of players.

Dear Victor,

Here is something you didn't know about YourFunWorld Studios, we actually have a parent company which is a hosting company. The website however was at the time using a home connection due the servers not running Linux at the time, but not that we got all our servers using Linux we would be glad to to help ACR out. How many servers do you need, I'll send you the SSH information soon. Look forward to hearing back from you.

For starting, I think one server would be good. I'll include a message about YourFunWorld Studios in the extended server info. Will the IP be static? If so, I can make this one the official server (with an A record in play.acr.victorz.ca).

Here is the information.. You will have up to 1GB of RAM and a dedicated IP just for you.
Server Information:

Your Dedicated IP is: 199.15.114.50 [not redacted because you will see it in the server-list]

Well, I don't see how they could do anything harmful to us. They could be trolling and they might not actually do it.

If they do it, they really can't do anything bad to us. The won't get passwords and stuff because the official server doesn't need passwords when we can auth via the master-server.
