How to be godly with a RPG.... tutorial
Everybody thinks that RPGs are super OP, but in reality they actually aren't. If you aim an RPG like a traditional gun, you will almost always die or run out of ammo without a single kill. Also, in bad terrain, the RPG can be an hinderance, and if you know where RPGs can fail you can defeat RPG users better.
When using a RPG: 1. Terrain, terrain, terrain. You must always seek the high ground, since RPGs are near useless aiming upwards at someone. Avoid shooting at someone going up stairs right in front of you since you are more likely to blow yourself up and the enemy is more likely to survive. If you are going up a hill and somebody is firing at you from the top, don't even think of using the RPG. If you are on flat terrain, it becomes more and more difficult to kill the enemy the farther they are from you (it is difficult to precisely hit the ground at an angle). If they are close, most likely you will kill the guy and suicide yourself. This actually is good for your score, but don't try it if you have a nuke because you don't want to lose it. ![]() 2. Do not aim at the guy, aim at the ground underneath the guy. If you did 1. and got the high ground this should be very simple. If you are on flat ground, see if the enemy is near any walls. If he is, all you have to do is aim directly at the enemy. If you miss it'll hit the wall which would also fry your mentally-challenged enemy. If the enemy is on flat terrain and is not near any walls, you can jump so you can hit the ground near the enemy easier. If the enemy is not near any walls and is on top of a hill or something, the only chance you got is a direct hit (not easy when 1. the enemy is moving and 2. your reload time is slower than a snail). I usually prefer using my primary in this case. When getting fired on by an RPG: 1. Stay at least on the same ground as the enemy. You don't want to be below him where he can easily target the ground. If you can, go to the high ground where the RPG is most ineffective. 2. Stay away from walls behind you, take advantage of walls in front of you. Walls in front of you shield you from the blast. 3. Use your own explosives (grenades) against him. Hold down the fire button and count to 3-4 seconds, and throw it. It will explode before the enemy can react in time. 4. Ricochet the bullets to fry the RPG n00b hiding behind the wall waiting to smoke you. I actually have never tried this method before (since I am usually the RPG n00b) but if anyone is willing to pwn me with it, be my guest. ![]() ![]() "C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot; C++ makes it harder, but when you do it blows your whole leg off." - Bjarne Stroustrup |

LOL mossy, giving out all your secrets. Yeah, I've experienced that RPGs are only effective if you're above someone, so that if you miss them, hopefully the backsplash will take them out.
One thing that I do a lot to counter RPG-n00bs is to suppress them without ADSing, because they'll be forced to run into cover, and you can probably take them out before they get into cover DSO
