Rigging a model is a fuckin' nightmare for me too.I've tried but yeah,the results are terrible.I use Blender for my modeling.It's cool and all but the bone system there is just so damn hard to understand,and then theres weight painting that makes your life like 3x harder.Tho you gotta start somewhere
