Offical request for a gunteam... Padge, xd-epcizombie, and bluwargy
so i was thinkning about the guns i have and what ima do with them cuase i have no experince with md3 before.... so i was wondering if we could a elite modeling team... me and padge could model and animate... and epiczombie and bluwargy can texture and setup ( aranging it for distribution...) i think we together could make the most badass guns ever seen ( forgive my language) i can model pretty well but i need help from the rest of you guys

Padge, xdEpciZombie, and bluwargy have some experience in modeling but the models don't actually affect the gameplay.
There was a period with lots of weapons mods that all consisted in new models and skin. At the beginning, they was welcomed and it encouraged other mods of this kind but it rapidly started to be boring then became more and more boring. There was lots of new models/skin mods but nothing new in the gameplay (nor others kinds of mods or contents). It was near to kill ACR. In other words, your request is, according to me, a bad idea. They was confident : "Only some thousands of bricks, and it will look like something !"
More a community is little, more the "others will do it" way to think is dangerous for it. |

@asmanel: That is the reason why I suggested/created that "mod installer". I'm going to fix some bugs and start an inofficial weapon repository short after christmas, so let me do some advertising here again:
-> Written in pure C++ with Qt4 libs - platform independent! -> Fetches a list of mods and puts them into a nice list -> Unzips and installs them automatically TODO: -> Compile for Win, too -> "Details"-Windows with HTML/Preview -> Backup functoin MAYBE IN FUTURE: -> Write up a real "repsository" in php with access for forum members (myBB logins) -> Make it work as a universal ACR Launcher/Updater, too (some problems with paths etc, current version is definitely worse than the existing one) The C Programming Language: combines the flexibility of assembly language with the power of assembly language.

okay i admit i didnt do a whole lot of planning before this post.. but the point im trying to get at is; if we work together im sure we`ll get some amazing results.... i dont know any of your specialties but i do know we need a texturer... who textured the h&k mp7?
