Free playermodels
Hi guys,

I stumbled upon this playermodel from a random search I did on google. Do you guys think it can be used in ACR? There's license details, but I'm not an expert on laws.

RE: Free playermodels
And will just do it?
Here showed how we can take the model of openarena and placed them in cube2.

May be better to try first with the model Beret?

RE: Free playermodels
Sorry Epiczombie, I have absolutely no experience in modeling. All I do know is that it is free to use. It claims to be rigged and animated, but maybe that's just for the title

RE: Free playermodels
OpenArena (short form: OA) is a free (as in freedom) network enabled multiplayer first person shooter based on the ioquake3 fork of the id tech 3 engine. It aims to be a free software clone of Quake III Arena, retaining its gameplay while replacing the proprietary content with brand new free (as in freedom, again) content. OpenArena is released under GNU General Public License v2.0 (GPLv2). It is developed by the OpenArena Team.

RE: Free playermodels
I know this is rather late, but anything that comes from 'Turbosquid' cannot be used in opensource games (as stated in their license), even if it is 'free'.

Also, if you guys want, I'll gladly share some playermodels I've already posted (including a_slow_old_man's).
