ac_twintowers is gone?

Hello! I redownloaded ARC again after about a year of not playing it D: sooo, I took ages installing it, and I started up the game...I go to make a new game, and my faveourite map (twintowers) is not there. Have you guys gotten rid of it? if so, can you take it off the wiki please? If not, could someone please do me a favour and give me a download link or something I could use to get it back.

Hmm, i'm not active currently because of midterms, but I never noticed this. It might be buried and you have to scroll down more to see it. If not, hopefully ask someone when playing in multiplayer, im sure some of us still have the map

Hmm. I looked everywhere, it is not there. I even checked the 'maps' files, and it wasnt there either. but thanks, I will ask next time I go on MP.

Actually, I believe several former official maps, including ac_twintowers, were removed because the support of the AC 1.2 maps broke the support of these old maps. This is why, if you simply copy the file ac_twintowers.cgz into a maps folder of ACR 2.6, it will not work : the game will try to load it but a bug will happen.

However, port these map to ACR 2.6 remain possible. To port one of them, open it with a former version of ACR, switch to the edition mode (I don't know if this step is needed, I'm not sure) and save it (type /savemap <mapname>) before copying it.

Note, however, it works with ACR 2.5.9 but, apperently, not with any other ACR version, and I don't know with what ones it will work.

Asmanel, actually, we have a mapfix for that. @Victor should know about it. My favorite map, nuketown, at first was broken, but there's a file you can replace to get the missing textures back

The problem I meant wasn't simply bad and missing textures. These maps became actuallty impossble to play.
The missing textures and mapmodels are an other problem.
