[split] How do I run a server?
Can I run one?

Do you open Server.bat to run a server?

Well I just opened up Server.bat and I saw it on the serverlist. I'm willing to run a server whenever possible. I just need to know how to customize my server

Oops. Off Topic. I'll post in another thread.

RE: Master Server Not Replying
Yes of course if your internet is good enough.
To run a server, you need to open some ports. the default port for assaulcube reloaded reloaded is UDP 28770 - 28771.
Use the "default_servercmdline.txt" to config your server

if you need help with portforward, go to www.portforward.com

EDIT: if you didnt open your port, you are still able to run the server but it will not register on the masterserver. in another word, it will not be visible for public; no one can connect to it.
EDIT2: added 28771 (info port)

RE: Master Server Not Replying
Okay. Thanks.

Can you check and see if you can see my server on the serverlist?

RE: [split] How do I run a server?
Also, if you port-forward 28770, also port-forward 28771 (the info port).

Let P represent the server game port.
Portforward
P UDP
(P + 1) UDP

RE: Server Tutorial
Make sure that you follow the format described in serverpwd.cfg. You must add the proper permission (3) after the password.

RE: Server Tutorial
There are already all files without "default." in their name.
I mean they already exist.

So should I delete the old files and rename the "default." files ?

It always gives an ERROR and tells me something about UDP 28770 and 28771 and "server not renewed" but I forwarded UDP ports 28770 and 28771 .... What do you think I am doing wrong ?

RE: [split] How do I run a server?
If the old files don't work, then replace them with the new default.* files. Like I said, RTFM, and you shall see that it clearly tells you to put a space after the admin password, and then the permission of that password.

You need to make sure that the firewall doesn't block the server ports as well.

RE: [split] How do I run a server?
I've turned off my firewall to look if it really blocks the ports....
It still doesn't work Sad
