Well they should.Bots should have their own somekind of a plan or something,how they organize on a map.Right now they are just jumping around like assholes.I don't really know but maybe it's possible to make em smarter.In CSS there are pretty good bots.They seem to know what are they doing.Camping in surtain spots and resquing hostages while still understanding where the enemys could hide or come from.

Ya know just earlier today i was playin CSS and was observing the bots. I noticed that they 'improvised' in a way. One of them shot a window to gain access to hostages. I was gonna post about it but i see you beat me to it. Is there a way to look at Valve's AI code and sort of use it?

Im not sure on that one. Its released on the Source engine, which is open-source. You could get it from the Source SDK maybe

Actually they just released CS: Global Operations' source code. I bet you could use that instead

@asmanel Yeah,it's a gun that is alreaddy placed on a map,You can't pick it up or anything.If the player wants he can attach him self to the gun and then shoot.

as acr fan,i think smarter bots will be perfect,because the difficulty between "hardcore" and "expert" was too easy,
i hope in 2.5.8 the bots will be able to be a "headhunter" (always trying to headshot the player),always trying to dodge player's shot,having perfect camping skill,and very deadly in hand-to-hand combat.
wow! it will be very...challenging the player! Big Grin
and for stationary MG,i hope bots can use it as well as the player can do Smile
