You will get the "sucessfully registered" if your server's info port (port + 1) is portforwarded correctly. We cannot check your game port (port + 0). This is the masterserver before 2.2.

In 2.2, we are moving to a new masterserver, so your server will always register unless you are banned from registration.

You only have to forward two consecutive ports on UDP. Don't expose TCP ports unless you need to for something else.

Of course, you also need TCP 80 (HTTP) to register on the master-server, but virtually all firewalls allow that.

Only port forward UDP for the gameserver. Avoid exposing unnecessary ports.

If you have IRC, port forward the TCP ports it requires, plus 113 for ident.
