That DTA SRS looks sweet! Can't wait for it to be released! I love the SBR 16" barrel that's on it. Better than swinging around a giant Intervention in CQB, eh boys?

And xdEpiczombie, I think that's what i meant, right? I dunno, I'm getting a bit confused reading what you're saying. I get what you mean by low polygons and stuff, but what I'm saying is the EOTech model looks pretty sweet on the other dude's gun. No matter, I still love this SCAR H.

Oh, btw, the shading and other stuff. I find the shading to be fine. I dunno about you, but the shadows are really easy to utilize, and I can basically be a Ghost and terrorize the map. Try it on AC_Favela.

The EOTech shader thing is connected to the gun, so that's the cause of the problem. I wonder if you can isolate the EOTech reticle from the gun itself. You probably can't without making changes to engine or something, but one can wonder.

One thing about the light that I notice even though Im not a programmer or modeler is that the flash from the gun is actually from the bullets. I wonder if that can be fixed, or was it connected to Victor making "tracers". The tracers are a really nice touch to ACR, just looks a bit funny when they're shooting at you and it looks like they're shooting around you. Probably b/c a yellow spec isn't noticeable.

One of the things I notice is that we don't know what gun they're carrying in the game. I know it's something related to "world" or something. Can this be fixed?

Well, if I want to make a Cube 2/Red Eclipse mod, then I would start a different game.

The difficulty is that I have almost no knowledge of graphics programming. I do not know how to implement the red dot sight (I guess it's drawing a holographic red dot in the center of the HUD or 40 meters from where the gun is pointing and doing some masking with the weapon).

The world models indicate the weapons other player use, so I reused some of them and "colorized" them, but it's still hard to tell which weapon it is.

If ACR becomes a mod of Cube2/Red Eclipse, I suggest the game staying in the Modern era. I dislike games that are too futuristic like Red Eclipse. The most future i'd like is Halo or Ghost Recon Future Soldier

But yeah, the world models need to be retouched.

My idea was to "make Cube 2/Red Eclipse realistic" by replacing their futuristic stuff with modern (present-like) stuff.

Before I started such a mod, I decided not to, so that I can focus on ACR first. In the future, I might start that project.
